Nagar to Jari trek, day five
The last breakfast on the trek. Usually they included toast, cereals, French-toast, omllete and pancakes. Not bad.
And then went to visit Malana again. The village looks great from above!
We then started the long climb down. We reached the river, and walked all the way to the Dam.
We had lunch near the Dam, and there the Jeep awaited us. This was one of the best treks I've ever done!
Manikaran
After the trek, they took us to Manikaran. This village is famous for its hot-springs, which is a great way to finish a long
trek. There's also has a large Sikh temple, which is always cool.
The hot springs were great. That is, if you were born a man. The women had to go into a small room, but we had an open
pool with great views. A shame, really.
After our bath, we went to the town, to look at the temples and visit the markets. I got a good Cauliflower picture, which is
always a cause for celebrations. We rushed to the nearest Hindu temple, to thank the holy-cow for the good trek, and for the
Cauliflower. Some people (Yeah, Ronit, I'm talking about you!) will say that my vegetables pictures are lame. But when you give
them stuffed-peppers, than oh! suddenly they like vegetables and are all friendly.
