Chandra Tal
After the trek, we went to see the Chandra Tal (the 'Moon Lake'). This area (Spiti valley) is quite similar to Ladakh - barren
deserts. But the lake itself is beautiful.
And here are some nice pictures of the lake...
Michal and I spent the time on the shore of the lake. All the rest of the gang walked around it (lazy us!).
It's a good place for photos, so here are two good ones of us -
There was a nice Puja place on the side of the lake, with some Buddhist prayer flags (those always look good in pictures).
The views from the lake were great, with all those high peaks in site.
After we left the lake we went back to Manali. We said goodbye to Marcus & Ivana on the way (They hitched with some truck to
the Spiti valley).
