Nagar to Jari trek, day three
The third day was the most beautiful of them all. The weather was perfect, and we woke up to another classic Himalayan morning...
We camped just below the pass, and we had to climb about 200 meters to get to the top. There was another group of Israelis
with us, and they had porters with them (We used horses). I pitied the porters, they were carrying such heavy loads.
We finally reached the top of the pass, and then we walked along the ridge, with amazing views - the Kullu valley to the left, and
the Parvati valley to the right. Let the pictures begin!
The pass itself was marked with a pile of Rocks, in the best of traditions.
Shay and I went to climb a little further, and we had views of those shady hills...
When we climbed back down, we took some pictures of the whole expedition... I sometimes felt like Dr. Livingston with all
those horses and people walking behind you.
Here are some nice pictures of the Parvati valley from above -
Finally we climbed down, towards the camp, in the Parvati valley.
