JungfrauJoch
The 2nd day we decided we don't want to walk, so we took the train up to JungfrauJoch. It's the highest train station in europe,
and it's got some nice views to the glaciers and back to the village. On the way up we met with some Saudi's traveling, and quickly
made friends. He said "We are friends, but government not friends". Joch!
There's also a neat little ice palace (with some nice statues made from ice) and good hot chocolate!
Kleine Scheidegg to Maanlichen
The next walk was from Kleine Scheidegg to Maanlichen. You take the train from Grindelwald
up to K-S (where they make great rosti!).
Then you walk for about 1.5 hours to Maanlichen. It's a flat walk, and it was rather nice especially because it
snowed the day before.
And finally some pictures of me!
And here's Maanlichen. It's just a station on the ridge between Grindelwald valley and Lauterbrunnen valley. You can see
Wengen in the last photo here.
