Wedding, Heraklion

The wedding itself took place in the town hall of Heraklion. It's a nice building (although the offices were rather shabby). There were a lot of couples getting married, and we had to wait our turn...

It was a short affair - you get the rings on the fingers, take wedding vows (I wanted to put a ring on michal's finger, and say "Keep it hidden, keep it safe", but the greeks didn't like it, they are somewhat traditional folk, they are) and then the vice-mayor read us a few paragraphs in greek (With english translation from Maria). And voila - we are husband and wife.

And finally, a couple of pictures from Heraklion itself, including the mandatory Ronit-why-are-you-taking-vegetable pictures from the market.

Ag. Nic.

The first trip we've done is to the east, towards Agios Nicolaus (Ag Nic). It's a small town, which is a busy toursity place. They have nice sea, and a small lake (It's smaller than the winter-lake-puddle that fills a parking lot near our place in Tel-Aviv, really).
We had a good lunch in Ag Nic. Actually the food in Crete was pretty good all the way.

And finally, the star-wars emperor is still alive, last seen in the streets of Ag Nic. Wow, sorry, that was a bit evil.
No, the emperor is evil.
