Samar

Samar is a Kibbutz in the southern tip of israel (in the Arava desert, near Eilat). We spent a Yom-Kipur holiday there, with Mitzy's grandmother Idit. Idit passed away about a year later, and these pages are dedicated to her.

The Arava desert is really beautiful, and these are the Edom mountains (well, I think they are).

It was Yom-Kipur really. You can't see it here, but we were fasting and having a terrible time. Hey, and I've got Mitzy in the picture as well.


Jerusalem

These two pictures are taken from a short trip to Jerusalem. We actually went to visit Rivka (Michal's friend), and then stopped to take these two pictures. Rather nice ones!

View of the old city. You can see David's tower and all that. We don't have any picture of Rivka. Well, next time.
