My trip to New Zealand

The Banks Peninsula

Going back to say to the Banks Peninsula was kinda nice. I only spent one night there, at a very good backpackers called Le Bons Bay. The guy took us on a small boat to look at the dolphins, and it was nice.

The peninsula from above.
I like this view, so here's another picture.
The dolphins. It's not really exciting to see dolphins in NZ (you see them everywhere), but these got really close to our little boat. They are also the smallest dolphins in the world.
Still in the boat. This is in Le Bons Bay - a really nice part of the peninsula.

From ChCh to Picton

I had around 4 days to pass before my ferry to the north-island, so I spent it between ChCh and Picton. I went to Hanmer Springs (where they have some cool hot springs (sorry 'bout that). I also went to Lewis pass, and then continued on my way to Picton. Picton is such a great place, still. I did the only walk I haven't done there already, and then left on the ferry, to the north island.

Lewis pass. I wanted to go through all the passes in the south-island, and I did. What a dubious achievement, eh?
Still in Lewis pass.
That was actually the place where my father jumped his Bungy, about 6 years ago. So he certainly deserves a mention and a photo!
The ferry comes to Picton, as seen from snout point, just outside the town.
Still in the snout point, this is Heather from the states. Heya!
Danny, the owner of the Sequoia lodge backpackers, a wonderful place in picton. It doesn't look so good in this picture, but it was one of my favorite backpackers.
